“You can join the service in your are, then a trained adviser will help you to put your plan to stop smoking into action. The group sessions start a couple of weeks before you start your program. Your first sessions help you to plan and prepare to quit. After you go smokefree your group will meet each week for advice and motivation.”
“Some people prefer to talk one-to-one. In many areas you can arrange an appointment with an adviser for individual support.”
“Your adviser will be able to tell you about nicotine replacement products and other stop smoking medicines. You will also be able to use a carbon monoxide monitor to assess your level of addiction and monitor the fall in harmful carbon monoxide levels in your body.”
3. Free support at home with the Together Programme
This program built to help and guide you when you’re in your stop smoking program’s progress. The experts and ex-smokers there to help you through each step to make sure you are in the right way. Together programme provides you with practical help and advice including regular mail packs, emails, supportive text messages and phone calls.
