What you do is write down a list of all the reasons why you are quitting, things such as saving money, being healthier, living longer, setting a good example, feeling happier and so on.
Every time you feel yourself craving a cigarette just read the reasons you listed and it should help you remember why you are quitting.
Chewing gum can help – When you feel a desire for a smoke, try chewing some gum instead, very simple yet can help a lot.
Talk to others for support – This can be in the form of friends, family members or maybe even an official support group, talking with others for support can really help you to feel strong and they can give you the push you need to keep going.
