Quit smoking for good
How I did it: (I remember when I smoked my 1st cig 19yrs ago.
I coughed and coughed and said oh I will quit.)
Been saying that ever since.
Made Up My Mind To Get Serious.
Chewed Sugarless Gum and Nicorette Gum.
Bought the Garmin Forerunner 305 and walked more.
Told everyone I quit including strangers.Be Surprised there are many Ex Smokers Out There that like to share how long they quit too.
Made an effort to write my progress on 43things.
Will never stop writing my Smoke Free Journal.
That saved my life and made me enjoy life smoke free.
The Cheers and Comments really help.
Never alone.
Did the M&M and Ice Cream diet to kill cravings.
It helped but gained a lot.
Lastly joined a gym and can breathe so much easier.
Second best thing I ever done was join the gym.
Currently I as of 6-14-10…70 days Smoke Free..and counting..
I am still going to write my progress.
I feel strongly about not forgetting where one’s come from.Quitting smoking is a life long commitment.
I quit smoking for good but it is a daily struggle.

Photos on a pack of cigs from Canada that showed what is waiting for us.
Reading about others on 43things who either quit smoking or are trying.
Knew a co worker who died of lung cancer 2 years ago.
What Really Helped Me was wanting to live.
I feel like, I was half dead for the 19 yrs that I smoked.
Now,I am feeling the best feeling ever.
I am ready to live each day with such an amazing kick and spring..The feeling is awesome.
